PHA-UK would like to announce the establishment of a Medical Advisory Group and would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have kindly agreed to assist us in this development.

The Role of the Medical Advisory Group in the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (UK)

PHA-UK Medical Advisory Group (MAG) is composed of UK leaders in the field of pulmonary hypertension. The members of the MAG comprise of medical doctors, nurses, scientists, and other significant members of the PH healthcare teams who come from Designated NSCAG Centres in the UK. These centres are recognised for performing outstanding research and providing excellent care for patients with pulmonary hypertension

The aim of the MAG is to provide medical and scientific advice and guidance for the mission of the PHA-UK by proactively facilitating the development of new knowledge about PH, actively disseminating knowledge about PH to medical and public audiences, and advocating and raising awareness about PH. Members of the MAG will primarily provide editorial advice to PHA's publications, be they printed materials or web based materials. This will run in conjunction with a Readership Panel (for patient / non medical professional centred material) who can offer advice and direction into the readability of new materials. This Readership Panel will come from the membership of the PHA-UK.
