Full / Part Time Fundraiser

The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA), a registered Charity (www.pha-uk.com), through its agent, seeks to appoint a numberof sponsorship recruitment personnel to work on their state-of-the art promotion stand situated in the recently refurbished, vibrant departure lounge facility at East Midlands Airport.

Flexible 6 hourly shifts are available: 5am – 11am, 11am– 5pm, and 5pm – 10pm, Monday to Sunday.

£6 per hour basic + commission ensures an uncapped earning capability exceeding £100 per shift. Ideally suited to mature individuals. You will be engaged on a self-employed basis, responsible for paying your own National Insurance contributions and Tax.

Duties include approaching and engaging Airport passengers, introducing the Charity and encouraging new sponsors to make small monthly contributions (typically £5 per month) via a Standing Order Mandate. Previous sales/promotion/communications experience would be useful. Own transport is essential due to shift working.

You must be of a sympathetic nature, in good health and confident in approaching strangers with the ability to interact at all levels to promote this worthwhile cause.

Five years documented (continuous) employment and residential history (to date) are prerequisite to comply with Airport security requirements.
